April 2025
Dear Parent and Carer,
It has been a busy and exciting term ending with bike-ability for year 5 pupils, year 6 on their residential PGL trip and the KS1 spring production as well as lots of amazing learning taking place. The science week was fabulous with many exciting experiments taking place across the school. Year 1 children thoroughly enjoyed their trip to the look out discovery centre in Bracknell as did Year 3 during their visit to the Victorian School. The children also really enjoyed dressing in red for Red Nose Day. Thank you for your generosity and kind donations.
A huge congratulations goes to Javier Fallon and Ollie Cooves. who have won the Regional final with their club, JP Pro. They were also part of the national junior premier league winter cup final at St Georges Park which was held where the national team trains. Both boys have shown incredible discipline and dedication. Well done Javier and Ollie!
At the end of this term, we have said our final goodbyes to Mrs Paros and Mrs Bonnick and again thank them both for their hard work, support of pupils and commitment to Jupiter over the years. We wish them well in their future endeavours.
Please remember to check to ensure choices are correct and order dinners for the first day back to school. Please click on the link to view menus on HCL's website: https://www.hcl.co.uk/primary-menu-images
Have a wonderful Easter break and I look forward to seeing your children back on Tuesday 22 April.

Dance-a-thon
Jupiter came alive on Thursday 27 March with dancing and jiggling to tunes throughout the entire day.
A huge thanks to Ms Waggeh for organising the day.
Thank you for your generous donations, we raised an amazing £1064.67!
Please watch out for a future date in the summer term - the 'Skip-a-thon'!
KS1 Spring Production
Foxes, Deers, Puffins and Owls classes have worked extremely hard in rehearsing for their Spring production, 'There's a Sunflower in my Supper'. They worked together as a team to put on a wonderful production, which I know teachers, parents and carers were all very proud of. The children showed amazing confidence when singing the songs and reading their lines! Well done KS1, the production was absolutely ACE!
Year 6 PGL
Our Year 6 pupils have really enjoyed their residential PGL trip to Lidlington. It was a jam-packed few days, with children enjoying the incredible activities which the centre has to offer. It was a great opportunity for the children to gain confidence in making new friendships as they prepare for secondary school.
We cannot wait to hear more about their adventures during their PGL assembly on Friday 2nd May.
A massive thank you to Miss Wadmore, Mrs Albon, Miss Yearwood, Mrs Crute-Mussell and Mrs Hartman for giving up their time and making the trip such an enjoyable success for all the pupils.
Attendance and Leave of Absence Policy
A summary of the school’s Attendance and Leave of Absence Policy is available on the school website - Attendance and Absence Policy 2024
As you are aware the government changed penalty notices and fines which came into effect from 1st September. Please read the poster and policy for further details.
If you are intending to ask for leave of absence during term time for your child then please read this policy first.
Attendance in school is really important. Being in school is important to your child's academic achievement, well being, and wider development.
Getting to school late can also mean your child misses out on important learning which could affect their achievement or they could miss social time with friends and the time to settle into class which can impact on their well being.
Class blogs - please read these each week to find out about the learning which is taking place in your child's class and for any upcoming learning/ events.
